Brooklyn Microgrid was LO3 Energy's peer-to-peer local-energy trading pilot in Brooklyn, New York. Participants used custom meters and the Exergy blockchain platform to transact attributes associated with rooftop solar while electricity continued to flow over Con Edison's distribution system. A physical ten-block islandable microgrid was discussed, but public evidence documents a virtual marketplace pilot rather than a completed electrical island.
